Welcome to St Mary The Boltons
As Vicar of St Mary’s it’s my pleasure to welcome you to our website: the links above cover many of our activities but please do get in touch if you need any more information.
Through the website I hope you will get a sense of the warm and friendly community we have here at St Mary’s and that perhaps you will join us for a Sunday morning service; during term time we have a popular Sunday School and ‘Little Lambs’ programme for pre-schoolers. We also have a glass-sided room at the back of the church with toys and seating where you can follow the service, if you have very young children who are getting restless.
Here at St Mary's we are committed to making welcome all who come to our church regardless of background, ability, sexuality or gender. The PCC recently passed a resolution affiming the Church of England Bishops' plan to offer new guidance and prayers for blessing same sex marriages and civil partnerships.
We say Morning and Evening Prayer each weekday in church, at 8.30am and 5.30pm and are always glad when people join us – do contact us for more details.
The church is a lovely Victorian building set in peaceful gardens, open most days where you are welcome to come in and enjoy an unhurried moment in the stillness.
We look forward to welcoming you.

The Clarion
St Mary’s is a community which aims to be rooted in faith, open in thought and which reaches out in service.
We will do this by:
Worshipping and proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ
Supporting all in their journey of faith through teaching, discussion and study of God’s Word
Engaging openly and without prejudice to promote social justice in our community and the world
Caring for the whole of God’s creation
St Mary’s is committed to working towards the ambitions described in the London Diocese 2030 Vision: to become more confident in our discipleship; to develop into a more compassionate community and to be more creative in how we grow as a church, both in size and in depth of faith.
