Toilet Twinning!

Following a decision by the Charities Committee for some of our 2016 charitable giving, we have successfully twinned the seven loos at church with seven much needed latrines across several African countries.  When you are next visiting a church loo please take the time to admire the Toilet Twinning certificates which have been displayed on the back of the doors.

Inauguration of Revd Jenny Welsh

On Monday 8th May the whole of St Marys plus many from our local community gathered at church to give a warm welcome to Jenny Welsh, our new Vicar.  The service of evensong was a joyful event led by the Bishop, Archdeacon and Area Dean.  A professional choir was in attendance and after the service refreshments were served to several hundred people in good St Marys fashion.
